Jackson Fisher is a talented singer, song writer and composer. A multi instrumentalist, who has performed nationally for over 35 years. Festival credits include the Blues Festival 2006, Splendour in the Grass 2007, Woodford Folk Festival 2006-7. A personal highlight was The Basement In Sydney, The Metro and the Round House. Sharing the stage and/or supporting artists such as Midnight Oil (on his 19th birthday!) Spy vs Spy, The Love Bus, Pete Murray, Claire Bowditch, Wendy Matthews just to name a few.
Jackson is a qualified sound engineer and has co-produced his self titled debut album with Chris Ralfs, a creative sound engineer and talented musician in his own right on the South Coast of NSW. The album is an exciting mix of original acoustic rock, blues, funky folk and power ballads.
In 2015, Jackson had the honour of collaborating with Rod Bryar on his last studio album 'Moods of Blues'. Also In 2015 he joined forces with Frank Macias and the Los Amigos in a dynamic blues rock show performing at the historic 'Berrima Gaol Blues Revue (Blues behind Bars) 2015'.
In 2017, Jackson Fisher Music created a new show Jackson Fisher Piano Man 'The Ballads', showcasing Jackson's original power ballads. This show was proudly debuted at the Merimbula Jazz Fest 2017.
Collaborating also in 2017 with King Kong's Hat, a world class ensemble of smooth blues and killer vocals, performing at the Merimbula Jazz Festival and head lining the New Yearβs Eve Party in Ford Park that year in Merimbula to a 10,000 strong audience!
In 2018 Jackson had joined the Illegal Bootleg Band backing many interstate and international artists coming to the far south coast and Canberra region under the banner of the Candelo Blues Club. With some exciting shows already booked for 2019.
Joined by Corine Masliah in 2014, a session vocalist and recording artist who completes an exciting duo, bringing beautiful harmonies and an individual style to his original pieces and their extensive list of covers.
Presented as a duo they are Red Heart Blue. (2017). Credits include recording backing vocals on Rod Byrar's last studio album 'Moods of the blues' (2015) and has collaborated and performed with Jackson Fisher on his self titled debut album (2016). Corine also completed recording on a studio album composed and produced by Mark Masliah, 'Catching Moonbeams from a sunrise' a handful of existential love songs (2016).
Red Heart Blue first presented their show as a five piece ensemble at the last Candelo village Festival in 2017. Again at the Candelo Blues Club and the Eden Whale Festival in 2018. They will be joining forces again at the Candelo Village Festival 2019 and the Merimbula Jazz Festival 2019. After winning first prize from the Capital Country Radioβs walk up performances, Jackson and Corine have been invited back to Toyota Hats Off to Country Festival in July 2019.
With Jackson Fisher on lead vocals, piano, guitar, harmonica and joined by Corine Masliah's beautiful vocals/harmonies and light percussion, Chris Ralfs on bass, Manny Aigner on lead guitar and Ben Smith on drums.
